As a physician, you are eligible to take many of the examinations offered by APCA and its companion council, ARDMS. APCA and ARDMS-certified professionals meet rigorous criteria in both knowledge and expertise in medical imaging.
Applicants must meet prerequisites in education and clinical experience and pass APCA and ARDMS examinations, to earn one or more of the following certifications:

ABVM – American Board of Vascular Medicine
American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM) Vascular Medicine Examination
American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM) Endovascular Medicine Examination
CHIVA – Global CHIVA Education, Training, and Certification Program
Sonographer-level credentials: as a physician, you are eligible to pursue many of the examinations offered by APCA and its companion Council, ARDMS.
APCA and ARDMS-awarded certifications/credentials document personal achievement of recognized professional standards and are widely accepted in the medical community. However, APCA and ARDMS do not validate the day-to-day job performance of any medical imaging professional.
