CME Audit Process

APCA conducts an annual audit of a percentage of randomly selected APCA Certificants whose three-year CME period ended

in the previous year. Log in to MY APCA to view your current three-year CME period and check the status of CMEs you are required to earn by the end of your three-year CME period.

In March 2024, APCA will begin the CME Audit process for Certificants with the three-year CME period of January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023*. APCA notifies the randomly selected APCA Certificants of the CME Audit via MY APCA and email.  Those selected for audit will receive written notification from APCA of their CME audit results by June 2024. Results will also be posted on MY APCA.

If you are selected for CME Audit and failed to submit the minimum required number of APCA-accepted CMEs by April 30, 2024, your certification(s) will be revoked. If you do not meet the CME requirements, please follow the CME Audit Reinstatement procedures.

*If you earned your first certification in 2020, your three-year CME period began the day you attained the first certification and includes any time that remained in 2020 plus the next three years (January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2023).
