Every October, the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (APCA) joins its companion Council, the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS®) to celebrate Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month (MUAM).
How are we celebrating?
This year, we are celebrating MUAM by asking: “What advice would you give your younger self when you were a medical student?” Share your wisdom and insights to inspire the next generation of medical professionals!

MUAM is a collaborative effort involving the Society for Diagnostic and Medical Sonography (SDMS), American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), and Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).
We will showcase your valuable advice throughout October and November as part of our MUAM campaign. At the end of October, the winner of the raffle will be chosen at random from the list of participants and will be announced by November 11, 2024.
