Applicants without formal cardiovascular magnetic resonance training may meet eligibility through Clinical Experience by documenting:
- 3 years of cardiovascular magnetic resonance clinical practice (completed within the last 5 years), and
- 300 total cases DIRECTLY performed and interpreted, with case logs and attestation (at least 50% cases cine morphology and delayed enhancement)

- CBCMR Clinical Experience Attestation – Cardiology/Radiology/Alternate Board
- CBCMR Training and Clinical Experience Attestation – Nuclear Medicine (for physicians who are/will be board certified in nuclear medicine)
