American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM) Vascular Medicine Examination: The ABVM Vascular Medicine Examination tests basic vascular knowledge and skills essential to physicians practicing vascular medicine.
The American Board of Vascular Medicine (ABVM) Endovascular Medicine Examination: The ABVM Endovascular Medicine Examination tests basic endovascular knowledge and skills essential to physicians practicing endovascular medicine.
Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI®) Certification: The Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation® (RPVI®) certification documents the highest standard in vascular ultrasound interpretation. By earning the RPVI certification, physicians gain a critical edge in promoting public safety in vascular interpretation ultrasound. Practice test available!
CHIVA (Coming Soon!): CHIVA is an alternative to common procedures for varicose veins. The aim of the technique is to lower transmural pressure in the superficial venous system and avoid destruction of veins while decreasing pain, cost, and nerve damage.

Registered Vascular Technologist® (RVT®): The RVT certification, offered by APCA’s companion council ARDMS, raises the standard of vascular ultrasound practice worldwide and promotes best practices for enhanced patient safety. Practice test available!
Vascular Certifications Offered by the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy™ (PCA)
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Certificate: This program is an online certification program designed to provide independent validation of clinical providers proficiency in Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) POCUS. The POCUS Clinical Certificate is comprised of two assessments: a Clinical Case-Based Assessment and a Peer Evaluation.
Lower Extremity Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Certificate: This program is an online certification program designed to provide independent validation of clinical providers proficiency in Lower Extremity DVT POCUS. The POCUS Clinical Certificate is comprised of two assessments: a Clinical Case-Based Assessment and a Peer Evaluation.
